About the Global Innovation Partnerships
Global Innovation Partnerships (GIP) is an Initiative of Drexel's School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems (BIOMED). The objective of the GIP is to promote innovation through international collaboration and partnerships.
The Global Innovation Partnership (GIP) Program leverages and deepens its relationships with academic and corporate partners who share their life-saving solutions’ mission. The goal is to enhance and enrich its students’ educational global experiences through joint research initiatives, global classrooms, advanced dual degrees, and other meaningful partnerships that transcend boundaries.
About the Collaboration
The visual design and branding project for the GIP started with a conversation between the GIP’s Managing Director Jamie Mak, the Senior Presidential Advisor Banu Onaral, PhD, and designer Berk Ilhan. With the opportunity discovery and ideation sessions, Berk Ilhan designed the brand identity and the visual elements by manifesting the GIP Leadership’s vision through a joyful, optimistic, and human-centered visual language.
